Civil Design Engineers perform engineering duties in site development, design of residential and/or commercial subdivisions, roadways, utilities systems and/or transportation. The Civil Design Engineer will also evaluate, select, and apply engineering techniques procedures, and criteria; design drainage, grading and utility systems; work with other engineers and drafters on the project team and assist the project manager and project engineer; prepare specifications, entitlements, and engineering calculations; and perform other tasks as assigned by manager.
